Your new Role

As the management accountant you will provide and maintain an excellent standard of accountancy support with exceptional attention to detail. Duties are varied, from preparing board reports and monthly management accounts, to organising forward contracts for USD for our overseas suppliers, processing VAT returns, bank reconciliations, formal forecasting, preparation of annual budget, payroll, managing purchase and sales ledgers including payment to suppliers and chasing debtors.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have previous experience of management accounts with an ability to interpret financial data to present to the Directors. You will have a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A relevant accountancy qualification is desirable.

Exceptional Excel skills and Sage experience are non-negotiable prerequisites.

We are looking to recruit and train a new Sales and Administration Assistant and the successful applicant will be:

  • Trained to input data concerning orders received onto our CRM system
  • Trained to work with suppliers and couriers to ensure orders are expedited on time
  • Trained to talk to our clients and learn the ‘Parkers’ way of looking after them
  • Receive inbound telephone calls and direct as appropriate
  • Support the established team across a variety of jobs
  • Trained to liaise with management and accounts
