Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities.
  • Be the first port of call for new customer enquiries (phone, website & email).
  • Quote the most effective solution to meet the client’s requirements, identifying the best supplier, negotiating the price and applying the correct margin.
  • Organise samples and catalogues to be sent out to clients in a timely manner.
  • Follow up all enquiries sent by either telephone or email to convert into sales.
  • Regular communication with the Production department to ensure smooth handover and progress of orders processed.
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers.
  • Identify key accounts and keep in regular contact.
  • Monitor the market to find and suggest new ideas for promotions (and new suppliers).
  • Contribute to the marketing function: Social media/Mailings/Offers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in account management or sales, preferably in the promotional products and branded merchandise industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM sales systems.
  • Willingness to travel to trade shows and client visits as needed.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently to meet targets.

  • Salary £25k+ DOE along with competitive commission structure.
