As I’m sure you’re aware, we create thousands of promotional products a year. We also reference how our products are of the highest quality. That only happens when we have strict quality controls in place to ensure our customers are delighted, not disappointed with the result.
One such instance is when we created a backpack for our friends at System C. Their brief was to provide a branded backpack with their logo and message to gift to their salesforce. After considering a number of options, we presented them with a professional and practical product.
The Brief
Our friends at System C wanted a quality rucksack/backpack for their Salesforce. We recommended the Stormtech Sargasso Backpack. With a roll-top design, this backpack is full of features such as padded protection, ventilated back panel, reinforced PVC fabric to withstand the elements and ergonomic adjustable shoulder straps for comfort.
The Order
We were delighted when they placed an order for 175 pieces. However, when we sent their pre-production sample (which we always do with high value goods) there was a problem with the print. A small scorch mark had appeared around the outside of the heat applied transfer.
The Solution
This was not a problem for us. We simply moved the stock to our screen printer, and although we couldn’t register a second colour with the bag being awkward to print, we came to an agreement with System C and printed the one colour version that was perfect.
The Outcome
We think that’s our role in supporting our customers. We don’t walk away when things get problematic but use our expertise to find a way of getting the job done!
